Kanira Shah

Kanira is a venture capital investor and operator with 10+ years of experience building technology companies across EMEA and the US. Most recently, she served as Principal at Astanor Ventures, an €800M AUM fund focused on Food, Health, and Agritech where she held board seats across portfolio companies in Europe and the US, providing hands-on support on fundraising, GTM strategy, and growth.
Prior to Astanor, Kanira worked at SPDG Ventures and EIT Digital, investing in deeptech startups in Europe and the US. She also successfully managed fundraising and focused on SaaS startups at DN Capital. Before that, Kanira led investments into clean technology at Praefinium Partners and was also a creative entrepreneur for a few years in India and the UK. She holds a Master in Information Systems Engineering and a Master of Science in Environmental Technology, both from Imperial College London, and an MBA from INSEAD.
